  Finished with Tuscany, we head to Bellagio. This place has to be the most beautiful place on earth. From there, we head through Switzerland and Austria, then back into Germany where we stop at the Steiff Welt and then finish in Dinkelsbuhl

  The end of our European Vacation. We explore the Romantic Road, then drive up to Bad Konig to meet dear friends. Finally, we drive to Munich, drop off our car, and explore the city.

• EuroTrip Complete - 1 May

  Our "adventures" in Europe on 1 May 2009. This is our drive from Venice to Figline (south of Venice). We learned an important lesson - don't travel on May Day in Europe!

• EuroTrip Complete - 2 and 3 May 2009

  We do Chianti for a day, then head into Florence. Unlike Venice, Florence is an amazing city that we loved. I wish we'd been able to get pictures of the real David - he is unbelievable. Enjoy.

• EuroTrip Complete - 24 and 25 April

  We begin our European vacation by flying to Germany, and then spending the day with old friends who live outside of Stuttgart.
  We leave Atlanta on the evening of the 24th and arrive on the morning of the 25th. After a short break for Bier and Sausage, we head to a palace outside of Stuttgart and a fairytale garden or Marchengarten.

  On the 26th, we travel to Munich by train, explore Olympic Park and otherwise nervously await my car.

  First thing in the morning, we pick up my new car then head south to a monastery. After sampling the bier and exploring the place where the bier has been brewed for hundreds of years, we head to the southern border of Germany to Hohenschau - the town at the foot of both Nueshwanstein and Hohenschau Castles.
